FAQs
-
What ages do you serve?
Our experiences are designed for children ages 1–5. Each activity is thoughtfully planned to meet your little one where they are developmentally, so they’re learning, exploring, and having fun the whole time.
-
Can I drop my child off at a class?
All children must be accompanied by a caregiver throughout the duration of our experiences. We like to keep things cozy and interactive, and it’s a great way for you to see all the fun your child is having.
-
What is your sick policy for classes?
We ask that children and caregivers stay home if they’re not feeling well or show contagious symptoms. We can’t offer refunds for missed sessions, but for STEAM Circles, we’re happy to provide a credit to apply toward a future session. That way your little one doesn’t miss out and everyone stays healthy!
-
How do you clean reusable class materials?
All materials are cleaned and sanitized between sessions. Toys and tools are washed with child-safe disinfectants, and sensory items are either replaced or thoroughly cleaned to make sure every child has a safe, hygienic experience.
-
What should my child wear to class?
Comfortable clothes that they can easily move around in! We encourage exploration, so think “play clothes,” not “Sunday best.” If you are attending a messy play session, we recommend wearing something you don’t mind getting messy and bringing a change of clothes.
-
Do you accommodate allergies or dietary restrictions?
Please let us know about allergies or restrictions ahead of time, and we will do what we can to accommodate you. Safety first.
-
Can siblings attend a class together?
Yes! Your little builders are welcome to come together. Each child needs to be registered individually so we can prepare materials and space for everyone.
-
Is Bitty Builders a physical location, pop-up business, or meet-up group?
We provide mobile STEAM experiences across Dallas-Fort Worth and sell activity kits that can be enjoyed on your own time wherever you are. Think of us as your go-to team for fun and simple, hands-on learning wherever it makes sense! We do not have a permanent “brick-and-mortar” location, but we make it easy for little builders to explore, learn, and create in a safe, welcoming way.
