Kids learn best when they can explore.

Bitty Builders curates hands-on S.T.E.A.M. play experiences for ages 1–5 that encourage exploration, experimentation, and confidence-building through play.

We keep things simple on purpose.

Our activities are designed to feel open-ended and low-pressure, so kids have room to explore at their own pace.

Sometimes that looks like building towers that immediately fall. Sometimes it looks like scooping, balancing, experimenting, or asking “what happens if I do this?”

These moments are where kids begin building confidence in their own ideas.

Meet Megan

A woman sitting on a colorful play mat in a classroom, reading a book to children. There are toys and building blocks around her, and children are engaged in play.

Bitty Builders was born after I became a mom to 2 under 2 while working as an Architect in a corporate environment. I felt overwhelmed, constantly trying to balance caring for a baby while keeping a toddler entertained, all on top of the exhaustion that comes after a full workday.

I started paying attention to the kinds of play my toddler naturally came back to over and over again, and began building simple extensions, systems, and loops that encouraged more independence while still supporting the connection we both needed.

As a mom, Architect, and former childcare provider, I’ve always been interested in the way environments shape learning. For over a decade of my architectural career I specialized in designing educational spaces ranging from early childcare to university level environments.

Bitty Builders grew from my deep passion for creating spaces that promote learning into a system for creating enriching play experiences that feel engaging for kids and less overwhelming for parents.
